Could you get your needles out?
Psalm 139 v. 13
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.”
Knitting’s back with a boom
This season’s craze is wool
And it seems like everyone’s at it.
Women everywhere cuddling woolies and going
Goo goo gaga for each other’s knits
They’re asking me “Where’s yours?“
“When are you getting one?”
Honestly, I don’t know how to answer.
How can I explain that it’s just not that simple because
I’m waiting on you, the designer
Can you use what I have?
The little yarn I own?
Could you get your needles out for me?
Hand-craft something fearful and wonderful skillfully
Knit one, purl one, drop one curl one for me please.
